We’re happy to announce that Morlack has returned once again to Breakbeat Paradise Recordings to drop his long awaited full-length album. The Hypersonic Freak project first landed at out desk a year ago, and the tracks have been selected and perfected ever since. The result is an inferno of beats, breaks & bass and freaky funky grooves, spread across 12 golden tracks dedicated to the dancefloors.

Morlack has been somewhat of a household name on BBP with over 6 digital EPs, 1 vinyl release and a remix album, so to dedicate the full-length album to the booming funk sounds of Morlack was the only natural thing for us to do.

The Hypersonic Freaks album takes us on a journey all the way from 80’s hip hop to 90’s RnB vocals into the present, all mixed with Morlack’s beats and bass and the freaky funky sounds of the 70’s psychedelic funk era. The album even leaves room for some quirky samples on tracks like Gimme Some Love and uptempo progressive grooves like on the Moment of Bang as well as classic Molack bangers such as the title tune: Hypersonic Freak.

In other words this album makes it really easy to be a DJ – just slam on any of these cuts and the party will be going in full effect. Freak funky good vibes from start to finish…

Morlack has some more big projects in the making that we unfortunately cannot revile yet, but we surely look forward to hearing what comes next from this funky beast of a producer.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is keeping the funk alive as always…
