Breakbeat Paradise Recordingsis very pleased to welcome back the ElectroGorillawith his second solo release on the label. This time around he’s cooked up a full-length album of various block rocking beats with a good doze of electro funk elements.

Each track celebrates different spices in the animal planet by pairing them with an appropriate funky groove and breakbeat which makes up what the ElectroGorilla called the: Enimal Kingdom.

Since ElectroGorilla’s debute EP on BBP in 2015 he has been all around the funky breaks scene under various aliases. From TruFunk to Bomb Strikesunder the The Funk Fury and featuring on various compilations and releases on Future Funk under the name Synoptix.

Now he’s back in the Gorilla outfit and boy did he bring along the funk this time! Each track is showing a new and more melodic side and a depth in the productions that are rarely seen in the assembly line electronic music scene these days. Demonstrated to perfection on the melodies and catching wobble basslines on Mosquito Lullaby and the progressive funky grooves on the Anteloop featuring Bob. The mellow sides of the spectrum are also being experimented with on tracks like Zebra Tribeand the beautiful Killer Whale Odyssey. 

ElectroGorilla has mastered to hard task of producing an all-round easy listing breakbeat album – which can be listened to on a Friday night as well as while chilling on a beach on a Sunday afternoon. We’re welcome all generations of breakbeat lovers to go on this journey with us to the Enimal Kingdom. Enjoy!

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings have branched into a bit of DnB, with an array of tracks to cater for the dancefloor.
Kicking off, is Crash Party with a stomper of a Jump-up track… a bit of Crazy, with a heavy rolling bassline and sharp beats to compliment…..
Next up come little known, yet knowledgeable Kontrol Center1… A Danish duo consisting of Ra:skl and HDN from Copenhagen. Bringing the some junglistic vibes, with a nice bit of wobble…
Ra:skl makes another appearance, but this time with his own style. It’s a hard-hitting jumper of a tune with heavy reece wobble vibes that is tried and tested!!
Cult, a little known Melbourne producer, comes with a proper punchy bass driven jump-up roller, with nice build-ups and change ups.
Basschimp, goes for a more electro vibe with his tune, reminiscent of some old school styles thrown in for fun!!!
Toy Beats rounds the release off with a hip hop inspired deeeeeeep bass dancefloor filler, rolling with nice hip hop lyrics, over some perfect complimentary beats.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is back to drop another debut EP from the German producer duo Mined & Forrest consisting of Forrest Funk & Mined from Obba Select. They are both well-established names on their own with a large group of followers – known for their edits, mashups and funky DJ sets.

Inspired by classic funk, modern bass design and hiphop sampling they teamed up to bring their musical ideas together. Spending lots of time in the studio turning knobs and hitting keys, they now have a bunch of funky tunes ready to hit the dancefloors out there.

The EP kicks off with the groovy and catching title tune There It Is, which perfectly showcases their take on the ghetto funk sound. A steady beat with some clever hip hop samples and a great deal of musicality including a big middle passage of beautiful atmospheric sounds.

On the next cut the duo takes us a little further back to the oldskool on the Funk Toxic banger. Toxic funky bass on a boom bap beat mixed with their chopped up hip hop vocal samples.

Things are about to get serious on the 3^rd jam on the EP which features Joker on the bass heavy Drugs tune. Heavy beats and big basslines is in center on this bad boy jam.

The title tune There It Is is finally getting the upmost funky party treatment from BBP’s very own Jayl Funk on the last track on the EP. A steady block rocking beat and twist up on the vocals is all it takes for Jayl Funk to make this his very own as he brings this EP home.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings have pulled together some top and up-and-coming producers to provide a slightly different approach to Swing. Bringing beats, bass and swing together to bring you an ecclectric mix of funky swingyness …

DJ B-Side is the man of the moment, with regular hits both on major releases, and on the freebies. This guy has a talent to produce tracks that are sure to get the crowd going, and this is no different. Sampling Missy Elliott, with some great swing and breaky beat, B-Side delivers as expected!!!

F-Block has graced the release with a head nodding, booty shaking piece of swingy DnB. This track has pure swing rhythm, heavy bass and beats that can only make you dance. He takes a very different approach with the elements of swing, producing a top tune for lovers of many different genres.

Established in the swing scene, and churning out the bangers, The Swing Bot has delivered yet again!!! A heavy bass driven track, with everything you could wish for from a swing track, but with a twist… Be sure to get this into any set for all those who love the heavy rumbling bass!!!

New kid on the block, Kibosh is a australian producer, with an ability to produce high quality!!! Thius track goes more on the Glitch funk, but with strong influences from Jazz and the like. A tune for bith listening and dancing, it will fit in most sets of all genres.

Leygo is a name often associated with reggae, breaks and dnb. But when we asked him to take a chance on swing, he jumped at it, producing a rolling swing thumper with some deep bass for those sub enthusiasts!!

Last up is a little known producer from Copenhagen, Denmark, going but the name of Blitzkrieger. This guy released a little swingy/balkanesque freebie earlier in the year, so we had to get the guy on board. Heavily influenced by hip hop, you can definitely hear it, in the bashy beats, and rolling bass!!!
