Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is back with another big vinyl release from the amazing producer due Lack Jemmon, which consists of DJ Clairvo and Kid Panel, who are both well-established producers, DJs and label owners on their own. Together they are an explosive cocktail of big funky grooves, filthy glitcy basslines and banging beats! After little over a year of being vinyl exclusive – this 4-track beast is finally ready to be unleashed to the digital audience!
Lack Jemmon has been around for a couple of years and quickly signed up with the successful ghetto funk label Scour Records where they have dropped a few tunes and remixes. When the boys reached out to us and said they had 4 bangers they wanted to drop on vinyl we didn’t hesitate to say Hell Yeah!
The self-titled EP showcases their style of heavy breaks and funky basslines perfectly across the 4 bangers that are tried and tested for complete dancefloor destruction.
A1. The EP kicks off with a big remix on the catchy Olly’s Heartbeat, which has been infused with someheavy duty basslines and some rocking electronic funk beats. Pure fire!
A2. The party continues on the second cut where the boys are really getting serious on another catchy riff and some party rhymes to go with the steady beats and glichy basslines. Let’s not forget the beautiful hook from the original 90s dance anthem to complete this perfect joint – Who’s Serious!
B1. Just as we though this couldn’t get any better Lack Jemmon cooked up another banger for the b-side called The Party Riddim. As the name suggest it harvests some big reggae grooves and vocals mixed with some party rocking beats.
B2. To showcase a different side to the duo Would You?! is a funky house arrangement with some smooth disco grooves and a party rocking rap acapella. A perfect way to end this double A-sided wax of bangers!
You can always count on BBP for your doze of party rocking beats – and for keeping the vinyl alive…

- Liberty Chaps – Hype Up!
- Leygo – Medication

- Bezwun – No Surrender
- Ocelus – Scrubby Dubby
- Basschimp – Bad Boys ft. Don Sharicon
- Funkliners – Mad Man
- Pecoe – Boom
- Morlack – Kool Operator
After the success of “Breakin’ the Riddim Vol.1” from last year, we thought it only fitting to follow up with a Vol.2… And what a follow up it is. 12 tracks of reggae and dub influenced breaks, providing an array of styles for whatever your dubby pleasure….
Breakin the Riddim Vol.2 sees some newer artists mixing it up with the more established, giving a combination of sounds that is sure to entertain.
- Illgorhythms – Fire Sound ft. Richard Smithson
A punchy beat and a plucky guitar jump out at you straight away with this from Illgorhythms- And the vibe continues after the drop with the guitar following you through a compliment of keyboards, synths, beats and bass, that fit together to provide a perfect balance of riddim and bass.
- DJ Clairvo – Lyrical Stepper ft. The Kurnel MC
These 2 are becoming regulars on BBP, and have finally joined forces to make a sweet bouncy riddim. The Kurnel MC, with his sharp rhymes and Clairvo’s ability to create a vibe that can only bring a smile to your face is a guaranteed floor filler.
- Cockney Nutjob – Let it Burn
Heavy bass and sharp beats with a dubwise influence is what Cockney Nutjob is known for, and he definitely doesn’t disappoint. A deep rolling bass over the kick gives this track a rumble only this man can deliver.
- Liberty Chaps – Hype Up!
These guys are on the up and up, and come with a riddim, that cannot be missed. Coming with some bassy funk, wobbling through some sweet vocals, and tight beats to keep it HYPE!!
- Leygo – Meditation
Starting with some nice dub vibes, and an echoing vocal, this track explodes out of nowhere into a warped out bass breaker. With a real groove to the beat, never escaping from that dub feeling.
- Fredy High – BoomBoom Fiya
After the success of his track on Vol.1, Fredy High has delivered again; with a hip hop head nodder wrapped up in a nice warm dubby riddim. Off-key synths and a bassline that can shake the tail off a donkey, create the perfect atmosphere for those fans of the more downtempo vibe.
- Bezwun – No Surrender
With previous banger releases on BBP, Bezwun returns with a bassfunk style, filled with sweet synth sounds, all based around ragga vocals that fit perfectly.
- Ocelus – Scrubby Dubby
Little known, yet not deserved, Ocelus is a hidden gem when it comes to making music. This guy has ear for a reggae vibe, using some 8-bit sounds, deep heavy bass, and vocals to sing along to, there won’t be a still foot anywhere when this is on.
- Basschimp – Bad Boys ft. Dan Sharicon
Here we have another artist that featured on Vol.1. We were so pleased with ”Under mi Breakbeat” track, that we had to get him again. Featuring the distinctive vocals of Dan Sharicon, Basschimp produces a nice blend of funky guitars, a deep warping bass and an amen to boot.
- Funkliners – Mad Man
Funkliners hit you with an uptempo banger filled with madness for those who like to brokout on the dancefloor.
- Pecoe – Boom
With his ever-growing repertoire of breaks and bass, Pecoe comes with a funk-laced riddim with some recognisable vocal and instrumental stabs throughout to make this a real rolling breaker. - Morlack – Kool Operator
If it’s a bit of downtempo wobble, then this is for you. Not known for this riddim styles, but more for making ultra funky breaks, Morlack produces a wobbler filled with reggae vocals and mixing the drums up for those different styles in the track.
Reviews:
“For this highly anticipated second volume of ‘Breakin The Riddim’, Breakbeat Paradise have got an awesome tracklisting and roster together to showcase the fusion of dub and funk into breakbeat compositions. For us the immediate highlights have to be the the reggae infused design of ‘Meditation’ from Leygo, the smooth patois vocal presence and from Richard Smiths on ‘Fire Sound’ from Illgorhythms and of course the crunchy drum design and writhing bass tones on Pecoe’s ‘Boom’. Overall this is a great compilation, showcasing a vast array of styles without diverting from the common theme of the project.”
/Juno Review
“Stand by! Breakbeat Paradise are about to deliver the follow-up to the roaring success of last year’s Breakin’ The Riddim collection of dancehall-influenced party breaks with – well – Breakin’ The Riddim Vol. 2 which looks all set to make an even bigger commotion.”

Nynfus Corporation – So Long Dudes *Out Now on Digital*
Available now on Juno Download:
http://www.junodownload.com/products/so-long-dudes/3202853-02/
A1. Nynfus Corporations feat. Timothy Wisdom & King Lion – This Weed
A2. Nynfus Corporation – The Beat Goes
B1. Nynfus Corporation – Nina is Back
B2. Nynfus Corporation – Jessie Bones Boot
Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is proud to welcome back Nynfus Corporation for what will be their very last release – a 4-track partyrockin’ EP. Is there a better way to celebrate the exit of this amazing producer crew from Budapest but to drop another dope EP on wax? To step things up they have teamed up with another heavyweighter in the scene: Timothy Wisdom from Canada on the first cut on the a-side.
The guys behind the music however will still be producing music under their new alias Lack Jemmon (Kid Panel & dj Clairvo) and they are still very active producers as well as DJs. You can catch them every Saturday @ Akvarium Club in Budapest, where their spin their unique blend of bass and hip hop grooves. They have recently been signed on Scour Records and are featuring on Vol. 4 of the Scored Cream collection. DJ Vida G of Nynfus Corporation, who has actually composed each track of this EP, will continue his solo artist career, as he has established a name for himself as a DJ in Budapest over the last 1.5 decade.
On this EP we are really in for a treat as the Nynfus crew spoils us with some state of the art glitch hop as well as some oldskool funky breaks. Everything done with precision with one goal in mind – to get the party started.
The praise to the sticky green gold feat. Timothy Wisdom on This Weed has already been turning heads as it has been on tour with Timothy including his set at last years Shambhala Festival. Another tune to watch is Nina is Back – which tears up a golden classic and reshapes it for total dance floor destruction!

Review:
Budapest ghetto funk purveyors Nynfus Corporation serve up some deep down and dirty breaks on the So Long Dudes EP. Starting out with the smoker’s delight “This Weed (feat Timothy Wisdom & King Lion)” which will get many a lighter in the air, for more than one reason! There’s the fierce dark side roller “The Beat Goes” which is reminiscent of classic Meat Katie, the block rocking, party starting beats of “Nina Is Here” (featuring a massive rhyme delivery courtesy of the MCs) and finally “Jessie Bones Boot” which features ‘that’ Moby sample.

Dj Clairvo may be better known as the brainchild behind acts like Nynfus Corporation and recently as one half of the Lack Jemmon duo. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is happy to be dropping a solo EP from DJ Clairvo, who is now ready to show the world his chilled funky type of breaks.
This Rally to Paris EP is fully shaped by personal travels and experiences… Having had proper gigs in clubs like OPA and Cithéa Nova or decent bar set-ups in pubs like Point Ephémère or La MaiZon, DJ Clairvo tries to sum up the vibe of the city with music.
Spending weeks at friends’, wandering through the districts of the city, visiting tons of its parks, being welcomed to a few house-hold parties of the locals – all of that gave an edge to those 6 tracks that chase the music called funk and breaks.
Breakbeat Paradise Recordings once again keeping the funky breaks in rotation on dancefloors acorss the globe…
